Linear Variable Displacement Transducer

The variable displacement sensor is a high-precision, non-contact, absolute measuring system designed for precise detection of one or more positions. With a resolution of up to 0.5 µm and a measuring range of up to 7620 mm, the sensor is suitable for a variety of harsh environments, such as presses, injection molding machines, and gantry robots.

The sealed IP67 aluminum housing of the variable displacement sensor ensures long-term reliable operation in these environments, and its contactless design avoids wear problems and significantly extends its service life. The measurement system of BTL Sensor uses magnetostrictive technology to provide accurate displacement data through the magnet of the encoder block acting on the measuring element. This variable displacement sensor not only supports the simultaneous measurement of multiple positions and speeds, but also enables convenient device integration through a variety of interfaces (such as IO-Link, Profinet, EtherCAT, SSI and analog output), supporting flexible configuration and measurement range recording.
